Aleks Fadini

Alessandro Fadini is an Italian-born award-winning jazz pianist, composer, digital artist, and electronic musician, who initially studied mathematics in Torino, Italy, before pursuing music at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Nice, France, on a scholarship. Relocating to New York City, Alessandro earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the City College of New York, a Master of Music from the Aaron Copland School of Music, and a Doctorate in Musical Arts from Stonybrook University, under the mentorship of Marc Copland who influenced his harmonic innovation and improvisational skills. He performs regularly in New York, tours internationally, and has shared the stage with notable artists such as Eric Bibb and Ray Anderson. Alessandro has released several albums, including “Simply Begin Again” (2020) on the Fresh Sound New Talent label. Recently, he served as the Visiting Professor of Jazz Studies at the University of Utah and has integrated electronic elements into his performances. Alessandro also founded Pixel Portalz, winning the ASCAP Music in the Metaverse Challenge Award in 2022 with his SolTunes Project, and developed SpaceEars, an educational app focused on ear training.
